Check the phone and location, not only the name

USPhoneBook records can look convincing because a name matches while the phone or city belongs to someone else. Review all visible details and open the individual record before starting removal.

Save the profile URL and the phone number shown on it. Those details make the later verification much less ambiguous.

How the USPhoneBook opt-out process works

  1. Search for your name and review the matching record.
  2. Confirm the location and phone details belong to you.
  3. Open the official USPhoneBook opt-out page.
  4. Follow the broker's prompts for the selected record.
  5. Complete any CAPTCHA or browser challenge.
  6. Open the email link USPhoneBook sends.
  7. Finish the linked removal form and save the confirmation.
  8. Revisit the original record and search again later.

The first form requests an email link. It does not by itself prove the listing was removed.
