INFOBREAKER BROKER GUIDE

How to remove yourself from BeenVerified.

You do not need to buy a BeenVerified report to use its opt-out search. The hard parts are selecting the right person, finishing the email check, and checking every relevant property afterward.

Use the opt-out search, not the paid report funnel

BeenVerified's normal product path can lead toward a paid background report. Its removal portal has a separate search intended for opt-out requests. Use that route so you can identify the public record without purchasing a report.

Review the result card carefully. Aliases, similar names, relatives, and old locations can make the first plausible result the wrong person.

How the BeenVerified removal process works

  1. Search the official opt-out portal. Use your name and location details.
  2. Compare the result with what you know. Check age, city, former places, and other visible details before choosing a record.
  3. Select the correct person. Do not rely on an alias match alone.
  4. Enter an email address you control. The broker sends the completion link there.
  5. Complete any CAPTCHA and submit the request.
  6. Open the verification email. The initial form is not complete until the broker's email step is finished.
  7. Recheck the record after processing. Search the parent site and any sister property where you previously found the same exposure.

Finish one email-confirmation flow before starting another. Mixing several open requests makes it easy to verify the wrong record or lose the evidence connecting an email to a listing.

How Infobreaker helps with BeenVerified

Infobreaker uses the opt-out search, presents the candidate record for your review, and can carry the selected record into the assisted removal flow. It pauses for a CAPTCHA or email confirmation instead of claiming the request was submitted in the background.

The app also keeps the scan evidence and the later verification tied to the same record. That matters on BeenVerified because a name can appear as an alias on a different person's result.

BeenVerified is part of a wider group of people-search properties. A request on one site may affect another, but ownership is not proof of removal. Recheck every property where you saw a record and keep the results separate.

Common BeenVerified removal problems

The result card has my name but the other details are wrong

Reject it. Removing another person's record does not protect you and can create a false sense that your own listing is gone.

I submitted the form but never opened the email

Return to the opt-out portal and restart the correct record. A pending email step is not a completed request.

The listing returned

Record the re-listing and submit a fresh request using current evidence. People-search data can be republished after an earlier confirmed removal.

THE HONEST LINE

A request is not a removal.

Infobreaker records the request, preserves the evidence, and schedules a later check. It reports a verified removal only when that check shows the public listing is gone. Broker delays, declines, and re-listings remain visible instead of being folded into a success number.
