Infobreaker beta terms

Infobreaker is in public beta. It is still changing quickly, and it is offered for real-world use, testing, and feedback while it matures.

These terms are written plainly so users know what the beta is, what it is not, and what kind of support is available.

Beta status

  • Infobreaker is beta software. It can miss listings, flag weak matches, hit broker-side blocks, require human steps, or fail on broker pages that changed without notice.
  • Do not rely on Infobreaker as an emergency safety service, legal service, guaranteed-removal service, or substitute for professional advice.
  • Broker decisions and timelines are outside Tacita Labs' control. Some brokers may decline requests, delay action, require confirmations, or re-list a profile after a confirmed removal.
  • Infobreaker should not claim a removal unless a later check captures evidence that the listing is gone.

Cost and permitted use

Free to use for non-commercial use.

Your responsibility

  • Use Infobreaker only for yourself or for someone who has clearly asked you to help with their privacy.
  • Review matches before submitting opt-outs. Broker search results can include similar names, relatives, stale addresses, or wrong people.
  • Review any support report before sending it. The app creates redacted reports, but you should still inspect what you share.
  • Do not send raw debug folders, screenshots with personal information, broker emails, or database files unless Tacita Labs asks for a specific item for a specific issue.

Local-first privacy boundary

Infobreaker has no account system and no cloud dashboard. Your profile, scan history, evidence, monitoring rows, and local debug logs stay on your device unless you choose to send something.

Information leaves your device when you run a broker scan or submit a broker opt-out from your computer, or when you choose to send Tacita Labs a support report. Update checks send version/update metadata, not your profile.

For the full privacy model, see Infobreaker Privacy Notes.

Support promise

  • Support during the beta is best-effort.
  • We aim to acknowledge high-priority beta reports within two business days, but there is no service-level agreement.
  • Highest priority reports are disappearing work, unreconciled counts, unredacted support data, claims without evidence, install/update failures, and broker flows that submit something different than what the app previewed.
  • We may ask for a redacted support report, screenshot, app version, operating system version, Chrome status, automation version, or steps to reproduce.
  • We may not be able to fix every broker issue immediately. Broker sites change constantly, and some deliberately block automation.

No warranty

Infobreaker is provided as beta software. It is provided without warranties of availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, guaranteed removal, or uninterrupted operation.

Use it carefully, keep your operating system and browser updated, and keep control over what you submit to brokers and what you send to Tacita Labs.
